Ural Foil plans to boost its output to 23,800 tonnes by 2016. This project includes building a smelting furnace, reconstructing a strip-casting roller and acquiring a foil cutting machine (for 0.005-0.05 mm thick foil) and two baking furnaces.

The facility's key development priority is to expand its products range. The foil mill has recently started to produce new types of foil with thickness of 0.12 to 0.18 mm, used for the production of heat exchange units.
