CBK is RUSAL’s largest raw materials asset and accounts for about 25% of the company’s total bauxite output.

CBK was established in 2001 on the basis of the production base of the national Guinean company SBK. CBK started to produce and export bauxite in May 2001.

It is developing one of the largest bauxite deposits in the world.

Mining technology
Production is extracted by open method. Two production methods are used: drilling and blasting technology and the method of thin-layer bauxite production using Wirtgen 2200SM mining machines.
