UC RUSAL opens a modern epidemiology centre in Guinea
Conakry, 19 January 2015 – UC RUSAL (SEHK: 486; Euronext: RUSAL/RUAL; Moscow Exchange: RUALR), a leading global aluminium producer, announces that construction of the “Centre for epidemic and microbiological research and treatment” in the Kindia administrative region of the Republic of Guinea has completed. The Centre will support Guinea’s national health system and help fight the spread of the Ebola virus. The opening ceremony which took place on 17 January was attended by President of Guinea, Alpha Conde.

The document was signed by the CEO of RUSAL, Oleg Deripaska and the President of Rosneft, Igor Sechin at the XVIII St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

Moscow, 23 April 2014 – UC RUSAL (SEHK: 486, Euronext: RUSAL/RUAL, Moscow Exchange: RUALR/RUALRS), a leading global aluminium producer, has purchased over 80 different machines and mobile equipment units to strengthen labour mechanisation efforts at its Aluminium Division production sites. The company spent a total of RUR 132 mln on the purchase, R&D and maintenance of auxiliary process machinery for potrooms in 2013 alone.
