Moscow, 28 September 2010 – UC RUSAL Plc (SEHK: 486, EuroNext: RUSAL/RUAL), the world’s largest aluminium producer and owner of a 25% stake in MMC Norilsk Nickel, announces the filing of a lawsuit to the Arbitration Court of the Krasnoyarsky region to overrule the Board Election at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of shareholders of MMC Norilsk Nickel.

UC RUSAL signs letter of intent to acquire stake in NORINCO sales subsidiary
Moscow, 27 September 2010 – UC RUSAL Plc (SEHK: 486, EuroNext: RUSAL/RUAL), the world’s largest aluminium producer, announces that it has signed the Letter of Intent with China North Industries Corporation (NORINCO). The document emphasises the intent of RUSAL to acquire a stake in a sales and marketing subsidiary of NORINCO, which operates on the People’s Republic of China primary aluminium market. It also specifies the intent of NORINCO to invest into the high-tech production capacities of RUSAL’s Siberian smelters.

UC RUSAL to launch new social initiative programme "Territory of RUSAL"
Moscow, 31 August 2010 – UC RUSAL Plc (SEHK: 486, EuroNext: RUSAL/RUAL), the world’s largest aluminium producer, announces the start of a new corporate social programme ‘The Territory of RUSAL’. It is directed at the development of social infrastructure and the support of socially effective initiatives in the regions of company’s presence. The program encompasses years 2010-2011. The budget for the first stage of the programme is RUR 170 mln (about USD 5.5 million).
