RUSAL to refinance USD 4.5 billion loan

Vnesheсonombank approves project financing for the completion of the construction of the Boguchanskaya HPP and the first start-up complex of the Boguchansky Aluminium Smelter

UC RUSAL announces structural changes
Moscow, 26 July 2010 – UC RUSAL (HKSE: 486, Euronext: RUSAL/RUAL), the world’s largest aluminium producer, announces changes in its organisational structure. The current Aluminium and Alumina divisions have each been split into Aluminium and Alumina East and West divisions respectively in line with the geographic location of production facilities and their core products and key markets. In addition, two new directorates have been established: the Commercial Directorate and the Production Development Directorate. All these divisions and directorates report to the first deputy CEO of UC RUSAL, Vladislav Soloviev.

RUSAL restarts Ewarton Alumina Refinery in Jamaica
Moscow, 22 July 2010 - UC RUSAL (SEHK: 486, EuroNext: RUSAL/RUAL), the world's largest aluminium producer, announces the restart of operations at its Ewarton Works in Jamaica.  The refinery is part of Windalco, which was mothballed in 2009 due to the global economic downturn. The total capacity of the Ewarton refinery is about 650,000 tonnes of alumina per year.  RUSAL plans to produce about 321,000 tonnes of alumina from the refinery by the end of this year.

Norilsk Nickel management refuses to provide RUSAL with voting papers from disputed AGM elections
<P><EM>Violates Article 91 of Russian Federal Law On Joint Stock Companies</EM><BR><BR>Moscow, 15 July 2010 – UC RUSAL, the world’s largest aluminium producer and owner of a 25% stake in MMC Norilsk Nickel, announces that Norilsk Nickel’s management has refused to provide UC RUSAL with voting papers from the Annual General Meeting that took place on 28 June, in violation of Article 91 of the Russian Federal Law on Joint Stock Companies. </P>
