Moscow, 30 July 2009 - UC RUSAL, the world’s largest aluminium and alumina producer, today announces that it has agreed the principal terms of a long-term debt restructuring with the Coordinating Committee which represents more than 70 international lenders. According to the agreement, RUSAL will settle its debt to international banks within seven years. The agreement puts RUSAL on a strong and stable financial footing and ensures that the business is capable of weathering the current economic environment.

Moscow, 17 July 2009 – UC RUSAL, the world’s largest aluminium and alumina producer, today provides an H1 update on the success of its Cost Efficiency Leader programme, which is aimed at counteracting the consequences of the global economic downturn and increasing the efficiency of the company.

Moscow, 8 July 2009 - UC RUSAL, the world’s largest aluminium and alumina producer, announced a marked increase in output from its ARMENAL foil mill, Armenia. In June, the foil mill produced nearly 2,500 tonnes of foil, a 12% improvement on its nominal design capacity, taking ARMENAL’s half-year production to over 10,000 tonnes.

Moscow, 25 June 2009 – UC RUSAL, the world’s largest aluminium and alumina producer, is pleased to announce that Oleg Deripaska, RUSAL’s CEO, visited the ALSCON aluminium smelter during his tour of the company’s production facilities. As part of the Nigerian visit of the official Russian delegation chaired by RF President Dmitry Medvedev the head of RUSAL had a series of consultations with Nigerian government authorities and businessmen.

Moscow, 22 March 2009 - UC RUSAL, the world’s largest aluminium and alumina producer, and ONEXIM Group are pleased to announce that they have reached an agreement on restructuring RUSAL’s USD 2.8 billion debt.

Moscow, 18 March 2009 - Alpart (Alumina Partners of Jamaica), owned 65% by RUSAL and 35% by Hydro Aluminium, has announced that owing to the continuing severe decline in the global aluminum industry and the corresponding reduction of alumina demand worldwide, the company will temporarily suspend operations at its mining and refinery operations in Jamaica for a period no less than 12 months commencing May 15th, 2009. Alumina product has experienced a drastic 60% price reversal since July 2008. Approximately 900 permanent employees will be made redundant.
