Moscow, 15 October, 2019 – RUSAL (486 Hong Kong, RUAL Moscow Exchange), one of the largest aluminium producers in the world, has participated in a major international aluminium exhibition Aluexpo 2019 in Istanbul, Turkey.

The exhibition took place in Istanbul during 10-12 October and attracted thousands of visitors – from consumers of aluminium to producers of equipment – from all over the world.

RUSAL’s booth has received special attention from both customers and visitors as it reflected the natural origins of the low-carbon aluminium, ALLOW, that the Company produces.

While most of the exhibition visitors took pictures with the Baikal seal – a two-meter stuffed toy that welcomed every guest – some customers also participated in a lottery that followed a performance by a string trio.

“Turkey has traditionally been an important market for RUSAL as we are the largest aluminium importer to Turkey for many years in a row. Turkish market is 95% dependant on aluminium raw material import and is the second largest market in Europe following Germany with the annual consumption of 1.2 mln tonnes. It is being driven mainly by the automotive and construction sectors.
