UC RUSAL announces new appointments
The executive director’s position has been introduced as part of the Company’s programme for enhancing the competitiveness of the business in order to create an optimal production management model which meets the new economic conditions. Among other responsibilities, the executive director is in charge of establishing a single centre for the coordination of the activities of the Company’s product divisions, control and analysis of their performance and development of business plan execution models.
Alexey Arnautov, who formerly was the Aluminium Division’s financial director, will now be its acting head.
Biographies
Mikhail Erenburg has headed the Aluminium Division since March 2007. From 2004, Mikhail was the Head of the IT and Organisational Development Department. Two years earlier, he was appointed as the Director of the Organisational Development Department and was in charge of the SAP R/3 introduction project. Between spring 2000 and February 2002, he held various positions in the Transport and Logistics Department of RUSAL. Starting from 1996, he worked for the Sibirsky Aluminy Group and was posted to the Company’s New York office in 1999.
Born in 1979, Mikhail graduated with honours from the International Economic Relations Department at the Russian Plekhanov Academy of Economics in 1999. He successfully completed a post-graduate course at the Moscow Aviation Institute in 2002. In 2003, Mikhail completed professional development courses at the Columbia Business School and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Alexey Arnautov has been Financial Director of the Aluminium Division since April 2006. From November 2004 he was the Director of the Financial Department of the Engineering and Construction Division. From June 2000 he headed the financial department of RUSAL. In 1998-2000 he held several positions in the financial services in Sibneft. He began his professional career in Noyabrskneftegaz in the Far North in 1996.
Born in 1974, he graduated from the Donbass State Academy of Construction and Architecture with a degree in engineering and construction. He received a degree with honour of the International Academy of Entrepreneurship (1998) and an MBA in Economics of Institute of Business and Economics and the California State University (2004).
