UC RUSAL announces new sales appointment
Moscow, 24 July 2015 – UC RUSAL (SEHK: 486; Euronext: RUSAL/RUAL; Moscow Exchange: RUAL/RUALR), a leading global aluminium producer, announces the appointment of Bob Katsiouleris as Director of European Sales.
Bob Katsiouleris will join RUSAL on 1st August 2015 following a successful period as Senior Vice President for Marketing, Sourcing and Sales at Nyrstar, where he was accountable for the company’s global commercial activities and supply chain management. At RUSAL, he will be responsible for leading and developing the Company’s European sales portfolio, reporting to Steve Hodgson, RUSAL’s Sales & Marketing Director. Bob will replace Ulli Schridde, who has successfully lead the company’s sales activities in Europe over the last five years.
‘Europe has been a cornerstone market for RUSAL over many years, driven by a number of deep relationships across all consuming sectors. Through Bob’s expertise in supply chain management we are seeking to further develop existing partnerships through improved supply, as well as to reach a broader client base across the region’, Steve Hodgson, RUSAL’s Sales & Marketing Director, commented.
Biography
Bob Katsiouleris has more than 14 years of experience in senior operational and commercial roles markets including base metals and industrial minerals. Prior joining RUSAL he worked as Senior Vice President Marketing, Sourcing and Sales as well as a period as interim SVP Mining, based in Zurich. Prior to 2013 Bob was Chief Commercial Officer at Rio Tinto Minerals, based in Denver, with accountability for global sales, marketing and R and D. Bob holds a Bachelor degree in Mining and Metallurgy from the McGill University, Quebec, and an MBA from the Pepperdine University in the USA.

Moscow, 3 December 2025 – RUSAL, a global leader in aluminium production, has advanced to the second phase in the production of a batch of rolling slabs with a record-low carbon footprint. The figure came to less than 3 t CO2/t of aluminum (Full Scope), which is the company’s lowest ever recorded within its ongoing production operations. These ingots will be delivered to partners for further rolling into strip and manufacturing Russia’s first low-carbon aluminium beverage cans. Building on the successful launch of the initiative in June 2025, this milestone confirms the full industrial-scale operation of the Company’s sustainable manufacturing solutions.
