UC RUSAL appoints Director of Sales and Marketing
Peter Finnimore will be responsible for the overall commercial activities relating to sales of aluminium, alumina and silicon, as well as exports of foil - strengthening UC RUSAL’s presence in the markets of Asia, America, and Europe, as well as seeking new sales opportunities and building long-term relationships with end-user customers in Russia and worldwide.
Prior to this appointment Peter served as the Director of Aluminium Sales at UC RUSAL since its creation in March 2007.
Peter Finnimore has replaced Vladimir Kremer who has moved to Renova group, where Vladimir will be Deputy Chairman of the Management Board and lead a number of the group’s strategic business divisions.
Biography:
Peter Finnimore began his career in RUSAL as the Director of Marketing and Contract Support in June 2003. Later he was promoted to Sales Director of the company. Following the merger in March 2007 he became the Director of Aluminium Sales of UC RUSAL.
Peter Finnimore has long-term experience in the global mining industry. From 1996 until 2003 he held various management positions in business divisions of Rio Tinto. Previously he was a tax advisor at Price Waterhouse for two years and then served as a business analyst at Iwasaki Electric Company (Japan).
Peter Finnimore was born in 1965 in Brisbane. He graduated from Queensland University (Australia) majoring in commerce (1985) and law (1988).
