Moscow, 16 August 2011 — UC RUSAL (SEHK: 486, Euronext: RUSAL/RUAL, MICEX: RUALR, RTS: RUAL), the world’s largest aluminium producer, and Sberbank of Russia (RTS: SBER, MICEX: SBER03) announce reaching the agreement to improve the key terms and conditions of the loan facility of USD4.58 billion signed on 30 September 2010.

The facility proceeds will be primarily used to take out the outstanding debt under the International Override Agreement.

Ikot Abasi, Nigeria, 14 July 2011 – RUSAL-ALSCON, the Nigerian subsidiary of United Company RUSAL, the world’s largest aluminium producer, is pleased to announce the completion of seven water projects, to complement the existing three projects that provide potable water for over 10,000 people in Ikot Abasi LGA where the plant is located.
