UC RUSAL to increase its stake in Yaroslavsk GRK to 100%
<p>Moscow, 2 February 2012 — UC RUSAL (SEHK:486, Euronext: RUSAL/RUAL, MICEX: RUALR, RTS: RUALR), the world’s largest aluminium producer, is pleased to announce that it has entered into an agreement to acquire 50% of OOO “Yaroslavsk GRK” (Yaroslavsk Mining Company) from Russian Mining Company (RGRK). Following completion of the deal, Yaroslavsk GRK will be 100% wholly owned by RUSAL.</p>

<p>Moscow, 26 January 2012 – UC RUSAL (SEHK: 486, Euronext: RUSAL/RUAL, MICEX and RTS: RUALR), the world’s largest aluminium producer, is proud to launch the “Russia in Your Eyes” Photo Contest (the “Photo Contest”) to celebrate the second anniversary of its listing on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong (“SEHK”). Entries for the Photo Contest are to be accepted starting from tomorrow, 27 January 2012, until 29 February 2012. Winning and selected photos are to be displayed at Statue Square in Central during a two-week exhibition from 26 March to 8 April 2012.</p>

UC RUSAL installed unique equipment at Krasnoyarsk aluminium smelter to broaden range of alloys

UC RUSAL Packaging Division Plans To Increase Its Production By 25%
<p>Moscow, 20 December 2011 — UC RUSAL (SEHK: 486, Euronext: RUSAL/RUAL, MICEX: RUALR, RTS: RUALR), the world’s largest aluminium producer, is pleased to announce its plans to increase the total production volume of its Packaging Division by 25% until 2014, from 80,000 to 100,000 tonnes per annum, amounting to 5.3% of the world’s total foil production (excluding China). The Division will also review its production portfolio, to focus on converter foil. Total investment in the project will amount to about USD17 million.</p>

UC RUSAL And SFU Develop Unique Equipment To Produce Alloys For New Generation Of Electric Cables
<p>Moscow, 16 December 2011 – UC RUSAL (SEHK: 486, Euronext: RUSAL/RUAL, MICEX: RUALR, RTS: RUALR), world’s largest aluminium producer, is pleased to announce that RUSAL’s Engineering and Technology Center jointly with Siberian Federal University created a technology to produce aluminium alloys containing rare earth metals and transition materials, as well as developed efficient equipment for its implementation. The project will enable the Company to produce alloys for heavy-duty electric cables capable to transmit 1.5 times more electricity than modern power transmission lines.</p>
